Improvement Monday 16 May ’22

Ok Monday, Let's do this!

Monday is a transition for me. I’ve chosen not to blog or watch my site numbers on Sunday. To make that work, I write my Sunday messages beforehand and schedule them for Sunday morning. It’s a good boundary and it gives me peace. I also realized that I needed another boundary around the WordPress app on my phone. I chose to get rid of the notifications because they have a way of sucking me back in. ^_^

Planning a day off also means I need a plan for getting on again. I also needed to schedule a time to work on learning how to use WordPress better. But then, I also need to plan a time to learn more coachy type stuff. And, I also-also need to write a post for the day that I spent to learn whatever it is that I learned. So, that’s why I do Improvement Mondays. I do the thing, and then I write about the thing that I did. Perfect!

So, what did I do today?

I looked though the Eventbrite app for free webinars that might help me with my Keto/ healing journey, and might help me better understand how to help others with their different journeys.

I signed up for 3 events this week.

I attended one this morning: “What’s Feeding Your Appetite?” workshop by Faith and Fitness.

In the workshop I was vulnerable and talked about real problems that I really have with food. I enjoyed hearing from the other people in the group too.

I talked with someone who self identifies as a food addict. I asked them some questions and listened to their perspective. It was really helpful and I hope to honor their perspective in the work I do.

I will report back here with other improvements I made this week.
