Last Improvement Monday, I thought I would go to some free seminars, learn some cool stuff, and have more to share with y’all. Nope! I attended those seminars, but they wore me out. More than that, they completely demotivated me. The day I wrote about the motivation bridge … almost zero motivation to write it. And I came along with some pretty words – about taking out the not so important urgent things to make way for the important urgent things – yep, no one needed that advice more than me.
Your boundaries protect what’s important to you. It’s important for me at this time to post something everyday. It is also important for me to improve. But last week, I lost sight of what I wanted to improve, and why I wanted to improve. I want to encourage others on their healing journeys, be that Keto or otherwise. The plan for improvement (boundary), that I put in place last week, was getting in the way of my goal. So, I’m adjusting that boundary into something that will protect my abilty to write everyday.
This week, I am trying out things that I hope will nurture my desire to write. At the end of the day, posting everyday will help me to improve a whole lot faster than anything else I could try.

- Are you noticing that some of your boundaries are clashing?
- Can you identify what those boundaries are protecting?
- Is there a way to redraw your boundaries to protect both things?
- If not, does one boundary need to be powered down for a while?
- When you get to the heart of it, do both things really need your protection?
