The idea is, that it’s so easy to think “I’m making good time” and zoom right past my destination. Or even worse, thinking “I’m making good time” when I’m going the wrong direction! Clocks, and calendars, and spedometers are wonderful things. But it’s way more important to know where you are going and how you are going to get there. Compasses, accurate road maps, and other navigation tools are vital to getting anywhere. Ultimately, it’s good to have both, but one comes before and above the other.
So, Where are you headed? Is it just fast weight loss, or is it a whole healing journey? How will you know when you’ve arrived?
